Recent findings about the Chernobyl reactor accident. Pt. 1 and 2
Description
The brochure gives a report of the accident at Chernobyl. It deals with the plant design and causes and effects of the accident and makes an assessment relative to Federal German plants. In particular, it discusses the actual course of the event, measures taken at the plant level, and conclusions at the international level. As yet, no assessment, analysis, and critical evaluation of the radiological effects can be made; also, they are described for the Federal Republic of Germany and the other European countries on the basis of the transport of activity in the atmosphere and environmental contamination, the preventive measures taken to minimize the radiation exposure of the population, and the radiation to which the population was exposed. Der Bericht gibt eine Darstellung des Unfalls in Tschernobyl. Er geht auf die Auslegung der Anlage sowie die Ursachen und Auswirkungen des Unfalls ein und gibt eine Bewertung bezueglich bundesdeutscher Anlagen. Insbesondere werden der Ereignisablauf und die anlagenbezogenen Massnahmen und internationalen Schlussfolgerungen diskutiert. Eine Bestandsaufnahme, Analyse und kritische Bewertung der radiologischen Auswirkungen ist noch nicht moeglich, sie werden fuer die Bundesrepublik Deutschland und das europaeische Ausland daher anhand des Aktivitaetstransports in der Atmosphaere und Umweltkontamination, der Versorgungsmassnahmen zur Minderung der Strahlenexposition der Bevoelkerung und der Strahlenexposition der Bevoelkerung dargestellt.
