Boundary layer in a stream of fully ionized plasma

Description
Calculations are carried out for the boundary layer which forms when a fully ionized plasma flows around a surface. The ionization range for the atoms desorbed from the surface is assumed to be smaller than the other characteristic linear dimensions in the quasineutral plasma. The frictional drag and the heat flux carried to the surface by the ion thermal conductivity are calculated. Numerical calculations are carried out for subsonic flow around a surface
