Synthesis of organometallic polymers

Consideration is being given to the state of investigations into the synthesis organometallic high-molecular compounds. Characteristic of the basic known organometallic polymers and methods for their preparation is given. Schemes of reactions resulting in preparation of polymers containing in macromolecule chains cyclopentadienylchloride fragments of hafnium, zirconium, niobium, tantalum, molybdenum and tungsten compounds are considered. Interaction of polystyrene and its copolymers with Cr, Mo, W carbonyls and triacetonitriles of this metal tricarbonyls in benzene was investigated. Method for preparation and thermal properties of ultraviolet radiation absorbents based on high-molecular ruthenium compounds prepared by polycondensation of metallocenes with aldehydes are described.
