Description
A 3He cryostat has been constructed for the operation of a superconducting tunnel junction detector. The cryostat has a cold finger that can cool a detector at its outer tip and can be inserted into another vacuum chamber for radiation analysis. A cooling test has shown that the outer tip can be held at 0.35 K for 92 h by one-shot cooling. (author)
