Description

We consider a condensation of a tachyon localized in a compact space. A general relation between a worldsheet RG and a time evolution in a string theory is discussed. For an explicit Type II compactification with such tachyons, we propose a stable final state of tachyon condensation. The time evolution in terms of low energy fields is discussed
