Description

A complex multilayer metal and concrete structure in the form of special steel coaxial cylinders with superheavy concrete between them was used during development as a containment wall of extrafirm casks for spent nuclear fuel shipment and durable storage. The radiation protection ability of casks was monitored on a custom-made γ-control test bench. This work is devoted to the methods used for this control evaluation. Applicability, reliability and representation of the chosen control technique have been confirmed by the analysis of processed data for a hundred casks. (author)
