Description
Uranium mining activities result in significant environmental impacts that are monitored and evaluated at all stages of the process. The impacts caused by the exploration of the ore can reach inhabitants of other regions, either by liquid releases, or by consumption of food produced in the plant's impact area. The present study aims to evaluate whether the radionuclides of the natural series are in secular equilibrium at the same points, to evaluate whether there are differences between the AC of each radionuclide released at the three different release points and, at the end, to apply radiological parameters to the releases aiming at the unrestricted release, using the WHO radiological potability criterion as a launch parameter
