Mekhanism of γ'-phase isomorphous particle formation on dislocations during precipitation of solid solutions with fcc lattice

Description
The method of diffractive electron microscopy was applied to investigate morphology and particle distribution of γ-phase formed under aging of the weakly deformed alloy of the Fe-Ni-Cr system with small additions of Mo and Ti. Particle precipitating in the volume of the matrix are shown to have the shape close to spherical, while larger particles as stretched disks lying over the (111)planes of the matrix are precipitated on dislocations. Theoretical analysis of energy profitability of plate-shaped coherent phase formation of stacking faults of splitted dislocations is conducted
