Retrospective individual dosimetry in the settlement with high level of radioactive contamination

Description
Results of reconstruction of individual accumulated absorbed dose of internal and whole-body irradiation (from 1986 to 2000) of v. Zabor'e (Krasnogorsk district, Bryansk region) residents are presented. Summary individual accumulated dose is ranged from 50 to 490 mGy. Verification of the applied calculating procedure (Monte Carlo method) based on the public opinion poll and estimation of day-to-day radiation situation was conducted by means of comparison with data of individual EPR-dosimetry of teeth enamel for quota of investigated persons. Good agreement with EPR data was obtained
Abstract (Russian)
Представлены результаты реконструкции индивидуальной накопленной поглощенной дозы внутреннего и внешнего облучения всего тела (с 1986 по 2000 гг.) жителей д. Заборье Красногорского района Брянской области. Суммарная индивидуальная накопленная доза находится в пределах 50 - 490 мГр. Верификация примененной расчетной методологии (метод Монте Карло), основанной на опросе населения и оценке текущей радиационной обстановки, проведена путем сравнения с данными индивидуальной ЭПР-дозиметрии по эмали зубов для части обследованных лиц.
