Basic Research on High Energy Density Science (HEDS) for Fast Ignition to produce new/clean Energy

Description

The objective of this project is to develop a new ignition technology to improve the neutron generation efficiency - Electron acceleration and analysis for fast ignition in high energy density plasma - Development of shock wave generation and plasma diagnostics for shock ignition experiment - Development of a hybrid front-end of high energy laser system to improve the stability and signal to noise ratio Joint research wth the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (SIOM) will clear out all international ambiguity and allow us to join a sensitive research field which has been monopolized by some developed countries. HEDS will trigger international cooperation in field of quantum engineering, EUV source, and the laser materials processing
