The multiwire proportional chambers coordinate system of MULTI set-up

Description
The coordinate position-sensitive detector of the MULTI set-up for investigation of the small angle correlation is described. It consists of coordinate multiwire chambers placed on the common gaseous volume. The characteristics obtained on the U-400M cyclotron beam at ∼ 100 % efficiency of detecting fragments with Z = (1-6) are presented. (author)
