An easy method of comparative rapid evaluation of the resistance of the low-strength coverage to dynamic load is developed. Thew results of determination of the effect of the sublayer material and the state of gadolinium oxide coverage on its resistance to load originated from the detonation of the layer of plastic explosive are presented
