Search for Supernova Relic Neutrinos at Super-Kamiokande

Creators

  • 1. University of California, Irvine (United States)

Description

The search for a supernova relic neutrino (SRN) signal at the Super-Kamiokande detector is limited by irreducible backgrounds. New work has improved our cuts to dramatically improve efficiency, lower energy threshold, and better control our backgrounds, and a new likelihood method has been developed for our limit extraction.
