A local optical potential study of elastic e--Li scattering
Description
Differential cross sections for elastic e--Li scattering at 54.4 eV and 60 eV are computed using a local, central optical potential accounting for polarization, excitation and exchange effects. The results are compared with experiment and with the frozen core Glauber approximation, and the agreement with this latter approximation is discussed. (author)
