Photometric observations of W UMa-type system SS Ari
Description
UBV photometry of SS Ari is presented. The analysis of the period variations indicates that the O-C diagram has a sine-like shape. However, on the basis of available times of minima, we cannot conclude whether the period variations are due to continuous or random, abrupt changes. Light curve synthesis solutions are calculated for both possible cases (A-type and W-type light curves.). 23 refs., 2 figs., 6 tabs. (author)
