Investigation of a nine section superconductive niobium cavity of linear accelerator of electrons and positrons

Description
The study of 9-section of the superconducting cavity for linear accelerators of electrons and positrons was executed. It is shown that to obtain adequate results of the calculations it is necessary to consider at least six of the lower waveguide modes of interacting. To equalize the amplitudes of the oscillations of the resonators in the π-mode it is necessary that the first and last resonator chains were different form from the intermediate resonator configuration. Nearest to the π-mode parasitic oscillation (8/9 π mode) is separated from it by the resonance frequency of 728 kHz (the working range 1.3 GHz). (authors).
