Description

The radiation mutagenesis induced by ultraviolet light is briefly studied. UV-induced base changes (the purine and pyrimidine bases of DNA) are discussed. Other points are considered: the radiation damage of DNA; molecular aspects of radiation mutagenesis and biotechnological analysis of mutants. (M.A.C.)
