The book is divided into six parts which discuss respectively: elementary particles, their physical properties, basic types of radiation, the interaction between radiation and matter, problems of the physics of stable and unstable nuclei, radioactivity, atomic nuclei models and nuclear forces, physics of nuclear reactions and accelerators, the foundations of the statistical recording of particles and equipment for the detection and observation of particles, and nuclear spectrometry.
