Magneto-optical characterization of melt-textured superconductors
- 1. Electroceramic Div., Solid State Physics Lab., Delhi (India)

Description
We have investigated the ternary compounds Nd0.33Eu0.33 Gd0.33Ba2Cu3O7 and Nd0.33Sm0.33 Gd0.33Ba2Cu3O7, superconductors melt-processed in a reduced oxygen atmosphere with magneto-optical techniques. Zero field-cooled (ZFC) measurements were done to understand the flux penetration behaviour of this compound. It was found that the critical state is well established in these samples. (author)
