Muon-proton deep inelastic scattering and asymptotically free field theory

Description
The deep inelastic μ-p scattering is investigated via asymptotically free field theory. The cross-over phenomena observed in the small x region is explained by taking account of the gluon contribution through the operator mixing. (author)
