On composition of zirconium heteropolynuclear complexes with titanium (4), chromium (3) and aluminium in sulfate solutions

Description

Interaction of Zr and Cr3+ in sulfate solutions results in formation of heterocomplexes with discrete variation of properties and Zr:Cr3+ ratio in the complex, depending on the system composition; Zr and Ti or Al are characterized by the most probable continuous variation of the heterocomplex composition. The ternary crystal compound of Zr, Cr3+ and Al is prepared at solution basicity of about 35%; while at basicity of 40% and higher aluminium does not cocrystallize with sodium sulfatochromozirconate
