Phenix in the future
Description
This paper discusses Phenix objectives for the coming years which are: to continue the fuel burn-up increase. This will only by achieved by significant modifications of fuel management and to design and operate new experimental facilities. The first one is an instrumented plug aimed at monitoring of pin failures in an internal storage position similar to that of a core position. The second one is a self contained loop for testing fuel pin behaviour in abnormal conditions
