Partial-wave analysis of the K-p→Λπ+π- reaction in the range of Λ (1520) resonance

Description

The partial-wave analysis of the K-p→Λπ+π- reaction in the Λ(1520)-resonance range is carried out taking into account the triangular diagram. The partial decay widths of the Λ(1520) resonance in the channels of Λ(1520)→Σ(1385)π and Λ(1520)→Λππ have been obtained. The angle of the SU(3)-singlet mixing with the isoscalar component of the octet (J)sup(P)=(3/2)sup(-) is estimated. The allowed values of the mixing angle 13 deg <=THETA<=35 deg are consistent with the SU(3) predictions. The upper limit on the ππ-scattering S-wave length a00 is calculated. The value a00<=0.21 (h/2π/μsub(π)c) is at 95% confidence level
