On the nature of the Hagedorn temperature
Description
We explore strings at temperatures in the vicinity of the Hagedorn temperature within the context of canonical as well as microcanonical ensemples. We consider several alternative scenarios for what could be happening above TH. However we argue that available evidence favours a first order phase transition before TH when interactions are included. (orig.)
