Description
The 735-km baseline MINOS experiment is composed of a near and a far magnetized detectors. The NuMI neutrino beam at Fermilab has been providing beam for MINOS since March 2005. We have accumulated a beam neutrino sample with an exposure of over 1 x 1020 protons on target. The performance of the MINOS experiment and the recent results using beam neutrinos up to March 2006 will be described
