Iron(3) solvent extraction by dialkyl(diaryl)[diethylcarbamoylmethyl] phosphine oxides from nitric acid and perchloric acid solutions
Description
Iron(3) solvent extraction from nitric lacid and perchloric acid solutions by dibutyl- and diphernyl[diethylcarbamoylmethyl] phosphine oxides was investigated, depending on concentration of reagents, acids and the time of phase contact. It is shown that extraction equilibrium is achieved rapidly in systems with nitric acid and sowly - in systems with perechloric one. It was established that iron(3) was extracted much more effecively by both reagents from perchloric acid solutions, than from nitric acid solutions. Addition of small quantities of perchloric acid to iron(3) nitric acid solutions enables to increase sufficiently the efficiency of iron(3) extraction. The results were correlated with americium extraction behaviour under similar conditions. It was revealed, that the visible solvate number increased in time from 1 to equilibrium value (up to 3) during Fe(3) extraction from HClO4
