Description
The presentation explains the problem of management of damaged spent nuclear fuel canisters (sheaths) at the Mayak plant. To solve this problem a special hot cell is being built at the Mayak plant to enable safe reprocessing of submarine spent nuclear fuel. The presentation provided detailed design and description of such hot cell.
