Effect of spin-orbital interaction on magnetic properties of nuclei
Description
Effect of the spin-orbital interaction on magnetic moments and on the reduced probabilities of the M1 transitions is considered for nuclei in the vicinity of 208Pb. Contributions from the spin-orbital interaction (i) to the core polarization, (ii) to the charge-exchange current, are taken into account. The correction to the magnetic moments due to the first effect amounts to < or approximately 3%, that due to the second effect is from 5% up to 40%. The second correction is quite important in description of the l-forbidden M1 transitions
