Apoptosis changes in patients with myelodysplastic syndromes suffered after the Chernobyl catastrophe

Description
The changes of dexamethasone-induced apoptosis were investigated in patients with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) suffered after the Chernobyl catastrophe. Data obtained revealed the different level of the sensitivity of hemopoietic cells to the induced apoptosis according to the different type of MDS, that help to understand deeply the mechanisms of uneffective haemopoiesis in this disease
