Description

The Slovak Technical University in Bratislava has been training specialists for the Czechoslovak nuclear power industry since 196l. Graduates of two faculties have gained knowledge of the nuclear physics, power generation, thermodynamics and physical chemistry processes taking place in nuclear power facilities. By now, more than 160 persons have graduated in these fields. Among others, the training reactor of the Budapest Technical University is used in the instruction. Construction of an own training reactor is envisaged. A survey is given of the cooperation of the Slovak Technical University with institutions involved in the Czechoslovak nuclear programme
