Description
Streaming potentials developed during the flow of dimethylformamide, methanol, acetone and their binary mixtures with water through a thorium oxide membrane have been measured. The results indicate marked linear dependence of streaming potential on applied pressure difference. The development of streaming potential has been found to approach a steady value exponentially.
