Charm hadronic decays from continuum e+e- data in the 10 GeV region
Description
Experimental information on charm hadronic decays from e+e- continuum data in the 10 GeV region is reviewed, with emphasis on recent results. These data, together with information coming from fixed target experiments at hadron machines, provide crucial information on the interplay between electroweak interaction and QCD in a regime where both perturbative and non perturbative effects are presented. Present data allow also to probe predictions from heavy quark effective theory and to test the Standard Model predictions for rare decays. (author). 32 refs., 5 figs., 4 tabs
