Radiation resistance of 07Kh18N9 and 03KH16N9M2 steels
Description
Radiation resistance of 07Kh18N9 and 03Kh16N9M2 steels, irradiated up to fluence of 7 x 1025 m-2 and (2.4-2.6) x 1026 m-2 at temperatures of 350-400 deg C is considered. Low-carbon chromium-nickel-molybdenum austenitic steels display higher radiation resistance in comparison with 07Kh18N9 steel, widely applied in the atomic power engineering. Welded joints from 03Kh16NM2 steel are on a par with matrix metal of 07Kh18N9 steel in terms of plastic properties
