Steam generator with U tube bundle and superheating

Description

It includes a water box, a secondary envelope containing feeding water, a tubular plate in which are fixed the tubes of the bundle; the tube bundle is contained in an envelope set inside the secondary envelope; an annular space is provided between the two envelopes. Over the bundle envelope, inside the secondary envelope a free space is provided; it is a feeding water reserve communicating with the annular space. This water capacity can be fed by at least a feeding system. The invention applies especially to PWRs

Abstract (French)

Il comporte une boite a eau, une enveloppe secondaire soudees de part et d'autre de la plaque tubulaire et un faisceau de tubes fixe sur la plaque tubulaire et contenu dans une enveloppe disposee a l'interieur de l'enveloppe secondaire et menageant un espace annulaire compris entre les enveloppes et au-dessus de l'enveloppe du faisceau est menage un espace libre a l'interieur de l'enveloppe secondaire. Cet espace libre constitue une reserve d'eau alimentaire en communication avec l'espace annulaire. La capacite d'eau ainsi constituee peut etre alimentee par au moins un moyen d'alimentation. L'invention s'applique en particulier aux reacteurs nucleaires a eau sous pression
