The composition of the shell of plasma jet of diaphragm discharge in vacuum

Description
The composition of the shell of plasma jet of a diaphragm discharge in vacuum is described. The discharge was treated in its quasi-stationary phase. The study is based on numerical simulation of the kinetics of plasmochemical reactions, where the external sources of particles, such as molecules, atoms, ions and electrons, were provided by a convective flow of light erosion products from the boundary layer in the diaphragm orifice and external (with respect to the shell) ionizing radiation from the plasma jet axial zone. The initial data for calculation of the shell composition were obtained from the experiment, in which textolite was used as the plasma-forming material
