Description
A computerised first order kinetics glow peak analysis technique is described which involves electronic transfer of the glow curve data to a microprocessor followed by first order kinetic analysis of peaks 2 to 5. The technique eliminates the need for the standard low temperature anneal (80 deg C, 24 hours or 100 deg C, 10 minutes) as well as the need for a second reading of the dosemeter to estimate background and, in addition, results in significantly improved precision of measurement at 4.2 mGy-60C gamma ray irradiation.
