The character of oil price change is discussed. The problem on the world oil demand is considered in detail. It is noted that under conditions of expected increase in oil demand in the faraway future and continuing decrease in oil production in the countries, which are not the OPEC members, the future prices on oil will depend on decisions adopted in the OPEC member-countries
