Extraction of vanadium(5) by tributylphosphate from hydrochloric acid solutions in the presence of salting-out agents

Description

The effect of Al3+, Mg2+, Na+, K+ cations on the coefficient of distribution of vanadium in case of its extraction by tributylphosphate from hydrochloric acid solutions is investigated. HCl concentration changed from 1 to 3 mol/l at the ratio of organic and aqueous phases equal 1:1. It is shown that with increase of solution acidity and salting-out agents concentration in an equilibrium aqueous phase the vanadium distribution coefficient grows. The salting-out action of cations increases in the K+<Na+<Mg2+<Al3+ row
