Description
This paper discusses the use of materials with shape memory in various industries, including the oil and gas industry. The advantages and disadvantages of metallic and non-metallic materials with shape memory are presented. The possibilities of using composite materials with shape memory in the oil and gas industry are considered. The use of composite materials for the manufacture of diaphragms in diaphragm pumps to increase the energy efficiency of equipment is proposed. (paper)
