40 years of detectors for infrared radiation
- 1. DOPT, CEA - Centre de Grenoble, Grenoble (France)
Description
The CEA (Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission) through the LETI institute has a long history for detecting infra-red radiations. The LETI has developed 2 kinds of detectors: quantum detectors cooled down between -200 and -120 Celsius degrees based on the HgCdTe semi-conductor and thermal detectors based on micro-bolometers on silicon.
