Diffraction of a surface wave on a half-plane between plasma and dielectric
Description
We consider the diffraction of a surface wave propagating along a dielectric-plasma boundary by a perfectly conducting half-plane separating the plasma and the dielectric. The problem is formulated in terms of a pair of integral equations which are solved by factorization. An exact solution is found. Asymptotic approximations are obtained describing the diffracted and reflected waves in the far (wave) zone
