The half-life of 197sup(g)Pb
Description
The half-life of 197sup(g)Pb was determined to be 6.2 +- 1.2 min by measuring the γ-decay in growth of 197sup(g)Pb from sources of 197sup(m)Pb (42 min). The sources were produced through the (6sup(,)7Li,xn) reaction on 197Au using 69-95 MeV beams. Several ambiguities in the decay schemes were resolved based on these γ-decay data. (orig.)
