Description

Present article is devoted to service life of cable coating. The corrosion rate of aluminium and its alloys alloyed by magnesium, beryllium and alkali-earth metals was considered. It was defined that aluminium alloying by magnesium, beryllium and alkali-earth metals (0.05%) allows to increase its corrosion resistance up to 20-42%.
