Description

π+ and π- absorption on 3He, 3H and 4He has been measured at various energies across the Δ resonance. All different absorption channels could be separated. Genuine 3N absorption has been established for all 3 nuclei. The absorption mechanisms have been studied and total absorption cross sections have been determined. (author)
