Scaling and thermal equilibrium of hadrons from Z0 decays

Description
An analysis of secondary hadrons from Z0 (91) decays of the LEP experiments indicates that the scaling of x=2P/√s distributions implies the same temperature T=0.261 GeV for all the secondaries. The multiplicities of Z0→π, K0, η, ..Ξ, and Ω computed with their quark contents and the same T agree with the data. The ratio of (1/N dn/dy)0 to the phase-space covered by the rapidity distribution, depends only on the energy, ∝1/Ecm1/3, for e+e- annihilations and anti p/p+p collisions as well. (orig.)
