Device of automatic power control for a nuclear reactor fuel element simulator
Description
Description of a device is given to control the heat release in a physical nuclear reactor fuel element simulator, with the alternating current used as a power source. The invention purpose is to increase the power range and to ensure the power independence of the resistance load. The device consists of a neutron kinetics simulator, integrators, inverter, summer, comparator, control unit, analog storage device and power metering unit. A preset heat release is ensured by the fact that, in compliance with the signal of disbalance between the preset and measured power, the current is transmitted through the fuel element simulator solely within a certain fraction of the current half-period
