Simulation of convective heat-mass transfer in reacting media

Description

Numerical solution of problem on turbulent non-isothermal flow with chemical reactions in combustion chamber under solid fuel combustion in dust state is obtained. Calculation experiment for Ekibastuz dust-state coal combustion in combustion chamber of steam boiler on the Pavlodar thermal power plant is carried out. Profiles of velocity, pressure and temperature as well as profiles of relative concentration of some combustion products by whole volume of the furnace space and on exit from it are obtained as well. Numerical solution of problem of methane jet combustion in horizontal and vertical channels is obtained. Obtained results of numerical experiments allow to create improved combustion methods for both the solid and the gas fuel, to push up an effectiveness of combustion processes, and to give suitable concept on power generation with minimal quantities of harmful substances
