Study of surface irregularity on corrosion of steel in saturated hydro side solution
Description
In this study the effects of the surface conditions of steel re bar on its cathodic current efficiency was investigated. The cathodic current efficiencies for steel re bar with different surface conditions were determined from cyclic polarization experiments. The results showed that cathodic faradaic current increased with surface irregularity. Surface condition of steel in saturated calcium hydroxide also had on effect on double layer capacitance
