Effect of the electronic state hybridization of uranium placed in silver on conversion probability of 23m5U

Description
Effect of hybridization of electron orbits of uranium placed in silver on the decay rate pf 235mU nuclear isomer was studied. The calculations were carried out in the cluster model in muffin-tin approximation. At surrounding of 235mU with atoms of silver, rise of the conversion rate (∼10%) was obtained. The comclusion is made that hybridization effects can not cause a few times fall of the 235mU conversion rate in silver for which some indirect experimental evidence is available
