Environmental radiation in the vicinity of Novovoronezh NPP

Description
Activity of dosimetry and radiation monitoring services in the vicinity of Novovoronezh NPP is considered. Data on contamination due to gaseous-aerosol wastes are presented. Permissible values of radioactive waste normalized for each stacks of NVAEhS, as well as ventilation releases for separate stacks are given beginning from 1980, when the NVAEhS-5 unit was start-up. Real wastes are shown to affect insignificantly the atmosphere in the vicinity of NPP operation. It is established the unit-5 wastes are lower than those of the unit-3, and 4, and the unit-1 and 2 wastes are the highest. Radiation background doesn't depend on the distance to NPP
